I am heading up to London on Sun/Mon, and mindful of what's been going on lately, i'd like to set up an alternative means of contacting loved ones in case of an incident. Knowing that mobile phones are often non-functioning at these times, if something happens and i want to let people know i'm ok, i will go to an internet cafe and post an "i'm ok" message.

What the request is, is that this is passed on to my partner and family. So if one of you guys that knows my contact details (i will put this up, filtered) can ring up (using a landline) mr_lovelace, then he can pass this on to my family.

I'm quite proud of this brainwave *grins*
